Conference Guidelines
- The Full Conference fee includes access to the main conference, the welcome reception, the social excursion/dinner, the workshops and tutorials and the Gather virtual poster sessions. (Note it does not include the Arabic Winter School)
- The Main Conference registration fee includes access to the main conference, the welcome reception, and the virtual poster sessions.
- Workshops and tutorials can be registered separately, without requiring Main Conference registration.
- Student fees are applicable only to full-time students. To qualify for student status, participants must provide proof of their academic standing (a student ID or a certificate for 2024–2025, signed by a supervisor) as a file (PDF, GIF, JPG, or PNG) during the registration process.
- Social Event tickets for accompanying persons can be purchased during registration.
Author Registration Requirements
- Conference papers (main track, industry track, demos): At least one author of each accepted paper must register for the COLING 2025 Main Conference at the in-person fee rate by the early registration deadline, even if the paper is presented in a virtual part of the conference. Failure to register will result in the paper being excluded from the COLING 2025 Proceedings. The registration can be at the regular or at the student rate. Each registration can cover up to 2 papers.
- Workshop papers: At least one author of each paper at a workshop must register either for the full conference or the workshop day('s) only. Workshop shared task papers do not need an author to register.
Author Registration Deadlines
To assist the program chairs and the committee with publishing the conference details for the program and the Anthology, we ask all authors to register no later than December 23, 2024.
In-Person Full Conference Registration
- Admission to all in-person and online tutorials, and to all sessions of the Main Conference (which are all in-person). Access to the entire virtual program held in Gather January 27-28 is also included.
- Morning and afternoon coffee breaks (with light snacks) for each day of the conference.
- Admission to the Welcome Reception on Monday, January 20, 2025 located at the Aloft Hotel Splash Garden level.
- Admission to the Social Event, which consists of one of the three excursion options and dinner in the desert on Thursday, January 23, 2025.
- Please note: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinners are not included in your conference fees. Exceptions are the Welcome Reception, which includes appetizers, and the Excursion, which includes a box lunch and a dinner.
In-Person Main Conference Only Registration
- Admission to all Main Conference sessions (including Industry Track and demos), which are all in-person. Access to the entire virtual program held in Gather January 27-28 is also included. Admission to the Welcome Reception.

In-Person Tutorial Only or Workshop Only
- Admission to the In-Person Session you registered for (as well as access virtually)

Virtual Admission
- Virtual admission to the Plenary Sessions of the in-person Main Conference.
- Virtual admission to the Gather Session(s) January 27-28.
